she was stink and rot
and putrefaction
a suppurating wound
on a pile of maggot ridden meat
something already for the worms
she was warm
and oozing
and leprous to the teeth
she was an ocean of pathogens
infested with death
and i begged her to let me swim
she was tuberous flesh
egg white and runny-yellow eyes
fevers and viscous dripping
she was gang banged gangrene
covered in mucused and bloodied stool
she was a pustulant pestilence
a swine pox
and a plague for all nations
she was swollen with the disease of a million swarming houseflies set to bloom beneath her skin
copulating with silverfish
as roaches watched with salivation
she was filth in heat
hot garbage in the breezeway
just a lazy dead kitten
on a sunday afternoon
and she licked my lesions
with her toilet bowl tongue
and the ick ran out
and i loved her
