i would rather be a stateless man of God
than to be a Godless man of state
in my travels
i have found
that there are more people willing to accept a god
than there are people willing to accept what that god says
how i came to be like this
what i wanted was a goddess
to be prostrate before
but i could not be humble
so she chopped off my head
